Duplicating Test Cases

QualityWatcher is focused on excellent usability and providing good efficiency when creating test cases. With that in mind, we provide users with the ability to duplicate any of their test cases. A duplicated test case is an exact clone of the original test case with only the title of the test case having a slight differentiation. The differentiation is the text “(copy)“ added to the end of the title of the duplicated test case. This provides you with a clear and distinct variation between the duplicated test case and the original test case.

To duplicate a test case, click the icon highlighted above.

You are prompted to confirm if you want to duplicate the selected test case. Once you confirm by clicking “OK”, your test case is duplicated.

If successful, you are shown a notification that your test case was successfully duplicated. The new duplicated test case is added to your list of test cases, as can be see in the photo above.
